"The contact of staff via WhatsApp after check in was easy and efficient; they responded quickly to all my queries. I appreciated the provision of an XL bathrobe when we asked. The staff were very nice and friendly, which made our stay more enjoyable. The spa was, as always, nice and pleasant. On the second night, there was some cleaning or refilling of the pool, but it didn't affect our overall experience. The view of the beach was great, though we could hear traffic during the day. One downside was the loud music from a college club at the beach that continued until around 3 AM, which was quite annoying. Despite this, we would still recommend staying here. "

"At first, my experience was not great but not because there was nothing wrong with the hostal. Unfortunately, I had a bedroom mate that was really drunk and loud. When I thought it was too much, I went down to the reception. I explained the situation to Joaquin and he said he was sorry about it and that he was going to change my room immediately. After that, the rest of the stay was very nice. I had a good sleep. My other roommates were quiet and respectful. The room and the bathroom were clean. I liked the breakfast. Ham & cheese toastie with coffee and juice. The service was very nice and friendly. The location is very good, just a few meters from the seaside although my room didn’t have a memorable view. In conclusion, I recommend this place if you're looking for a cosy stay in Bristol and your budget isn’t large."

"The hotel staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Our room had a sea view, which was a lovely way to start our day. The only complaint we have is that the WiFi in Room 209 was very weak and we frequently lost signal."

"Staff went above & beyond to help. We had booked Club Deluxe Seaview with Balcony & were given a room on second floor. It was light & airy but it didnt have a private balcony like we had thought - instead it was a terrace that was segmented per room but not very private. We queried this and were offered a room on the 3rd floor. This was much darker and felt smaller. Note - the balcony is only half width & very tiny. We actually preferred the second floor room as it was much brighter. On the second night our tv stopped working but the General Manager Paul was brilliant and did all he could to help. The issue was resolved the following day & we received complimentary drinks. Overall,we had a really nice stay & would recommend the hotel. "

"I got a great rate on a huge room with beautiful bay window and a view of the sea. Couldn’t believe my luck. Would return even at full rate. Clean, comfortable, nice decor. Staff were friendly and really helpful with a billing issue with Expedia. Highly recommend. "
