"We have stayed in Sugar Mtn countless times over the decades, both in houses and condos, and we thoroughly enjoyed this round house. It was clean and well-stocked and having two toilets upstairs was nice. My husband and I (in our 60's) stayed in the basement in the bunk beds, a first, and we have never experienced a spiral staircase like that! For anyone very overweight or with bad knees, I would suggest you enter that room using the outside stairs from the deck and avoid the staircase. Despite...

"Overall decent little cabin location mared by storage units in front of the property, never mentioned in the ad. Was a little bit noiseyfrom the business. Overall cleanliness was good, check in and out was quick and easy. A leaf blower would have made his a literal home run but wasn’t horrible. The floors are part of the charm of an old cabin. "My teen daughters and I stayed here 4 nights and used the cabin as a home base for a service project. The cabin was a comfy safe haven for us when we were none weary and sore! The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, climate control was easy, and the washer and dryer were indispensable. As with all of cabin type dwellings, you will hear creaking and footsteps from upstairs to downstairs. "The house was in an amazing location and there were plenty of attractions within a short drive of the house. John was the most helpful host we have ever worked with, he was easily accessible the entire weekend and called to welcome us upon arrival. "My Sons and I had a wonderful stay at “The Big Rock” property. We woke up to deer eating the crab apples every morning. The large rock is a perfect place to just sit and enjoy the pond and scenery. We caught plenty of bluegill and a few small bass in the pond. There was also a little pontoon and kayak the kids had a blast using. We will hopefully be returning soon. Lance was by far the best Host I have ever encountered. Anything we needed or any question were answered right away.."

"This was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The property is secluded and quiet. Bill was so nice. He walked us along his property up a giant hill to see spectacular mountain views. We had everything we needed for cooking. The firepit was awesome and Bill provided more than enough fire wood for us to use. We enjoyed the creek and wandering the property. Just a perfect location for our weekend getaway!!!"

"Very nice cabin in a quiet wooded area. Went with a dog and they had a very large dog lot right in front of the cabins. Nice quaint bar across the street, and a nice park down the street with river access. Quiet, laid back weekend. "

"We we're extremely impressed with how clean our room was. The entire Lodge gave off an "err" of being freshly cleaned & sanitized. We always check everything before we make our decision to as if we're comfortable staying someplace. The room had a bit of romantic charm to it. The staff was exceptional also exceedingly friendly & helpful. We woke up to a little surprise as it had snowed 🌨 all night. I was actually pleased to have our first ❄️ snow so early in the year. We would irrefutably recommend this place 🌞"
