"It’s a very beautiful property with a great location. I would highlight that 2 of the rooms on the top floor and the room on the ground floor doesn’t have Air conditioning which in very hot days makes it difficult to sleep even though it has a fan on the ceiling. Also the facilities on the ground floor, the bathroom is exposed (no doors) - has no privacy which is very odd, if you are spending days with family or friends. Everyone had to use the other bathrooms in the house. The outside garden...

"This was a family event/vacation for eleven people ranging in age from 3 to 77 from different places in Europe and North America. The lovely villa was ideal with pools and beach nearby. It was beautifully equipped with everything for meals and games, etc for children. Our host, Nanette could not have been more helpful or gracious. "

"This is a lovely rustic property in the hills above Bolonia. The views and grounds are beautiful. Things to note: the roads are not paved well as you get near the house and there are stairs. Some of the showers are in buildings that are outside. The manager is very responsive and the place is very relaxing."

"Our family of 5 plus my in laws stayed at this beautiful home. Everything was perfect. The rooms were all very clean and each had amazing views. Outdoor space was perfect for our large group. We had dinner every night outside and watched the best sunsets I have ever seen. The beach is short 10 minute walk and the town is just 10-15 minutes by car. We did day trips to Seville, Malaga, Ronda and Gibraltar."

"After booking I received an email stating that I needed to check I by 17:30 otherwise there was an extra 20€ charge. I specifically made sure I was booking a room with a microwave, but when checking in the receptionist said twin rooms don't have kitchen, I had to show her the description on hotels.com staying a kitchennete and she was able to give me a 1 bed apartment, as I needed somewhere to cook my food. There is not a freezer as described. The attachment to hold the shower head was broken...

"I stayed 3 weeks at the Tarifa Chalets and spent a wonderful time amidst nature. Living in a little house you can relax and enjoy your holiday. The location is great since you only need a few minutes with the car to the local beaches. The hosts are very kind and offer help if needed."

We were surprised that there wasn't any air conditioning or heat though we should have read the listing more carefully. We were there is October and the temperatures were in the low 70s. If it was any hotter, we would have had a hard time sleeping because the western orientation really heats the place up. Also, the freezer isn't working and the mattress is a bit tired. "We were in the Zahara apartment in June 2023. It is true to the pictures and descriptions. Very clean and lots of room for the 3 of us. The beach is wonderful and only a 3-4 minutes walk. We can see it from the top balcony. When we were there, the wind was pretty strong but we still enjoyed the beach. The cleaning staff was very helpful, specifically Virginia who welcomed us on our first day. The only improvement would be the hot water access which is not constant, especially when trying to take...

Great stay.

"Timely communication from owners with directions to the property. Got a warm welcome and lots of help in showing me how to get to the ferry terminal, which is within walking distance of the hotel. Hotel well maintained. Room was basic, clean, a very comfortable bed and pillows. Could hear plumbing sounds but not a problem. Would definitely recommend. Great value for money! "

"I really liked the decor of this hotel. It was very zen with interesting art, light fixtures and wall treatments made of natural materials. The front desk staff were friendly and cheerful. The restaurant was good for breakfast but not for dinner. One day we had to leave before breakfast and they were nice enough to pack a picnic breakfast for us, but when we opened them it was ham sandwich despite requesting vegetarian. This hotel is on the main road with lots of stores and restaurants. It's about a 15 min walk to the port our the beach. The outdoor space with the pool has very beautiful gardens and the bar opens up to it. There is an indoor pool and spa with a charge which we did not have time to use. "

"Lovely modern hotel. We had a superior room and it was faultless! The location is tricky - just outside the Sotogrande gated community with a busy main road to walk down to get to pathways - it is however possible! Taxis are ready and waiting at the hotel but you pay 30euros return for a trip to the port. Hotel is definitely worth a stay and especially if you hire a car! "

"The suite was ample but although we were 4 and had to wait for the check in time to have the room ready, the second bed was not even done yet. Everything else other than that detail was good, easy location and a lot of green around. Good location if you are visiting Gibraltar"
