"The Mona Hotel was a nice, cozy, and vibrant hotel. The reason why we gave it (4) stars and not (5) is not really a big deal but when we lounged in the lounge area it was quite dirty at times. We would look at the front staff sitting there with no customers waiting to be checked in and we thought to ourselves that maybe they could attend the coffee & popcorn area and tidy up a bit. "All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very large and had a big bathroom too. The carpets and some of the chairs in our room were a bit worn but it was overall very comfortable. Well located a convenient bus ride from the train station, would definitely stay there again. "

The main patio off reception is gorgeous with seating areas and a fire - which was a bonus as it was chilly. The property is right on the promenade that takes you to the main strip. It's about a 10 minute walk along the promenade but the walk is beautiful next to the lake. "
