"It is a nice, inexpensive motel. The lobby did smell very strongly of cigarettes even though it is a non smoking establishment. We got two key cards but only one worked unfortunately and we didn’t find out until the middle of the night when my boyfriend arrived and I was already asleep. The room was clean if a little out dated. The plug situation was a little lacking, so bring a power strip with a surge protector if you think you will need to plug in more than two things or want something...

"We loved our stay. Expedia has some outdated pictures, but we booked anyway and it was actually a nice surprise to see all the updates to the decor. The staff was friendly and let us have our privacy. The breakfast was homemade and delicious! They made Quiche, grits, parfait and then some banana bread to go! Everything was delish! The whirlpool tub was so relaxing and the bar soap was amazing quality! We can't wait to come back in the summer, hopefully! ☺️"

"We have gone here a few times and it's always amazing. Before finding this place we rented other cabins in the area and none come close to this one. Our kids have a great time at the private beach and pool. It's cozy and clean. We had a couple questions and the owner got back right away. It's a perfect lake house getaway. We will be back next summer!"

"We 5 72 year old ladies had a great time. We went wine tasting, played cards, games and just talked and laughed. The house was very nice. The water had a horrible smell. There was a water cooler but the jug was empty. The lights were on the ceiling far away from the floor. Hard to read anything. The lamps in the bedrooms didn’t work. But nothing stopped us from having a great time. "

The couch was patched together with tape, the toilet was covered in hair, the floor was sticky in the kitchen, the bathmat was dirty with grime and what might have been dog poop. The bathroom had not been swept or wiped down and was covered in dust, hair, and dirt. There were 2 packages of moldy food in the fridge. The blankets had not been washed. "We loved this property and enjoyed every aspect of it. The house, the location, the lake and all the amenities. We plan to visit again sometime in the future. The fishing was great! A few minor things. The upper A/C. I cleaned the filter it was pretty dirty. It is also extremely loud (it really rattles) I believe to not being shimmed level. In the upper bathroom I cleaned the shower head a lot of holes were clogged. The upper fan speed can not be adjusted due to pull string being gone. ...
