"We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. "

"Such a beautiful stay at the Staycation Maldon. Very nice location at the heart of the high trees. The suite was very beautifully decorated for Christmas and this really made it very special. Spacious rooms with kitchen made it super convenient and comfortable. Aircon/Heating unit in every room was super required due to the cold weather. My wife and I loved it and for sure will be back again 100% recommend!"

"The property owners were great and very responsive to our American quirks. They were friendly and on site to help at all times. Great accommodations and super owners. Would definitely stay here anytime for the care and the location. You are just tucked away on a quiet lane and the surrounding country side was awesome."

"The location was outstanding. Just a short walk to get the bus to get to Abbey Wood station. Short walk to shopping and restaurants. Just a stone toss away from the Thames River path. The house was so lovely. Beds were comfortable and the backyard space was calming. Just a delight to stay here and would stay here again if I visit London again."

"Clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped flat in peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed our stay. The instructions for collecting the keys could have been given more prominence in the welcome email. Other than that small point this was faultless."

Great One-night stay

"We stayed one night on a Saturday. We arrived late and were worried about the late checkout. Luckily, there was still someone at the desk and we had done the pre-check-in. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were travelling as a family of 4. Important to note that the bathroom doesn’t have a flexible shower hose but a fixed one. Not practical at all when trying to wash small kids."

"We have stayed at the holiday inn lots of times before, Brentwood was up to the normal standard, breakfast the first morning was cold so we asked the friendly staff you microwave it for us, the 2nd morning was lovely, the coffee was not as good as normal, quite bitter, plenty of choice of other drinks though, you can ask for omelette or pancakes which are freshly cooked for you which is really nice, great hotel, very pleased "
