"The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. The pool was…. Not as clear as the pictures. The food from Jack at the bar was 10/10 phenomenal. I recommend the buffet and full English breakfast. The road coming up the hill is a little rough, but manageable. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and comfy. Very relaxing."

"Beautiful property and really awesome villa! There were so many tropical plants and flowers around the property and villa. It felt very peaceful and private. It was a very unique experience being in the villa because it’s all open floor plan with only screens separating you from the forest. "This place truly had it all Beautiful home and property- spacious and lovely environment to hang out inside or outside Wonderful staff- Elias and Betty were so kind and attentive, gave great recommendations, anticipated our needs and went above and beyond DELICIOUS food- seriously some of the best meals we’ve eaten, for every single meal. Cannot recommend this place enough! We hope to return soon!"

"This house in Santa Elena is so cool! Our family of 5 stayed here for three nights. The house itself is well maintained, very spacious and clean. The views around the property are gorgeous and the surroundings are lush and so peaceful. We had Consuelo cook for us one nights and it was the best as she prepared food and cleaned up everything after. We got to relax after a long day. And Consuelo is so sweet and helpful. "Great place with heavy security. Not sure how needed it was but made us feel safe. Suite was very large and accommodating. Nice small pool was great. Would happily stay again :)"

"The property was a perfect getaway from our busy lives. Secluded deep in the jungle, we enjoyed a week among nature seeing birds, monkeys, quash, and other animals. The meals cooked by the staff and the nearby tour guide, Robert, were also worth it!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mahogany Hall. They were so friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. They made sure that we were able to eat before our tours in the morning and even prepared our dinner a little early on the day of our arrival because we had not eaten. "Really nice little spot and easy walking to town. The vibe is great, staff our super nice and pool area has a bar that’s open for when you return from a long day tour. Path to the rooms is really nice. Bathrooms on the cabins are brand new, lots of hot water! "

"We stayed in the family house and it was very clean with tons of room. The staff was extremely helpful. Pool was very nice and refreshing. The property is at the top of the steep hill so if you do not have a car and are not very active, you might find it difficult to walk back up the hill, but it’s easy to get a taxi, It very walkable into the main part of San Ignacio if you are of average fitness. Highly recommend this place for families and larger groups."

"All of the staff and Chef Joe were fantastic. All of the food was fantastic and a great variety. Plenty of hot water. Excellent family resort could not ask for a better place to stay. All of the staff were fantastic and went over and above to make sure our stay was fantastic. Whether a couple or family this was an excellent choice for the perfect vacation or getaway. We would definitely recommend this as a place to go for all of our family and friends. Can't wait to go back. "

Loved it!

"The front desk was extra helpful in arranging transportation to outings and to the airport. They are very service oriented. The lodge is definitely a unique place of cabins in a jungle atmosphere with beautiful plants, but close to town. The 5 of us stayed in a 3BR family cabin. Two of us took advantage of having massages in their cute little spa, which was great. We ate dinner and most breakfasts at their little restaurant. Very good food."

"I would recommend this!! There was parking! (you will need a ground guide since it is very tight). The property is well maintained and clean and the AC is strong. The pool was pretty to look at but the best thing about this hotel was free clean water from the water dispenser. Breakfast is just bananas and possibly coffee but there is a coffee shop next door as well as plenty of food options. Wifi was great too! we also had a load of laundry done for roughly $10 USD"
