"We had a lovely stay in Porongahau. Katrina’s place was great for us to chill and take in the fresh country air, with visits from Tank the friendly dog and a lovely horse to pat. The Bach is very rustic, with an attached compost toilet and a gas heated hose for a shower, which added to the adventure and country charm! Katrina was a great host and very friendly.One thing that the place would benefit from is some curtains. Other than that - it was a great stay :)"

"I arrived needing the toilet. I opened the door to find 3 beds in adjoining rooms but no toilet or bathroom. I ran around in desperation, even to a property next door. Eventually found a tiny, partially hidden pathway which I followed and found a toilet and bathroom at the end of the path. No signage or written explanations in the bedroom telling me where the toilet is. No response to my desperate written message."

"Beautiful bach at a stunning location. Michele and Gavin are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome.The fly fishing was amazing and this is the percent place to kick back and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the time with the animals and cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable."
