"First Time in Axel Maspalomas. First Impression was positive. Great Location. All the staff were amazingly helpful. I do remember Carmelo from breakfast, very kind and helpful. I don't remember the name of the receptionist, but the service was beyond expected, with the issue we had with the swimming pool closed for maintenance.,we have received alternative options to make our stay smooth and memorable. I will be back again for sure."

"Went for a quiet and relaxing week of winter sun with my partner and the stay was perfect in all details. The villa was big and very comfortable. Breakfast is well served, great size heated pools. Hotel staff were friendly and kudos to the housekeeping, everything was so clean!! Highly recommend it"

"Loved that it was so close to Yumbo! We had a room facing the pool and would recommend this if you don't want to be disturbed by noise coming from Yumbo at night. It's worth the small extra charge! "

"Very pleased with our stay. We had a 3 bed oceanfront and the outside area with pool was fantastic. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Only comment would be to improve the bedding - the duvet cover was just some sheets combined to cover it but didn’t really work. The cement factory is hardly noticed when you’re there and it’s only an easy 10 minute walk to the town. Breakfast was good and worth the extra cost. "

"Loverly hotel. Great pool view. Family friendly. Bed room a little small but kitchen area good. There is an epic flight of steps up the hill to get to Yumbo. Would be happy to stay there again. "

"A really lovely place to stay with friendly helpful staff. The room (like a small house) was really well maintained and spotlessly clean and also well equipped It’s a 7 euro ride to the Jumbo but friends who were in accommodation nearer the Jumbo paid far more for inferior places"

"Absolutely loved our stay here, our new place to stay in Playa del ingles. Spotlessly clean, well maintained pool and gardens, on-site store and bar. Friendly staff, fast and welcoming check in with free drink. Great breakfast - well managed. Loved every minute, well be returning "

"On arrival to the complex I was pleasantly surprised. It was nice and clean and staff were very accommodating. We went to our one bedroom duplex to check out our accommodation for the week, again we were pleasantly surprised. It was very nice, clean and had everything you would need for the week. The pool area was kept clean with 2 lifeguards throughout the day. The pool was never busy nor the area around so plenty of sun beds. If you are a golfer, you will be pleased to know it’s a 2 minute...

"Overall a good stay. Clean nicely laid out apartments which are somewhat aging but everything including all the appliances etc worked wel. In a quiet location but only a 10-15 walk (uphill) to Yumbo. However , wifi coverage is extremely poor. Changing towels every 3 days is not sufficient. "

"While I appreciated that it was a 'family' hotel, I would have preferred that one of the three pools available was adult-only. The exercise classes (and their 'leaders') were great, the table-waiting and cleaning staff were fabulous, and the food available was always excellent. "

"Fantastic hotel and great location. Only downfall was they don’t refill the coffee and sugar despite seeing that we are using it daily, also we were self catering with zero cooking appliances or tools, we had to ask for plates and cutlery and they cleaner then took them away and didn’t replace them. Also staff can be a little moody but the hotel itself is really lovely. We had room 1905 which was amazing with own terrace and two steps to the pool, it was like a swim up room, really lovely! "

Our holiday

"Lovely hotel,staff were brilliant,the lady who cleaned our rooms was the happiest person always with a smile on her face and left the room spotless. The entertainment was good and there was something on all day if you wanted Food was nice,pool was great abd the grounds are lovely. It was my partners birthday and the even left a card and a small box of chocolates in our room on the day."
