"Fabulous apartment. Comfortable and very clean. Receptionist very friendly. The only down side was the building works just outside. Noisy and a little intrusive. We were unable to sit on balcony. Well we weren't provided with chairs. Also my elderly husband found difficulty with climbing into bath for a shower. Would have been better with a walk in shower. However overall a fabulous apartment and would go back. Prices in restaurant a little expensive but it caters for those attending the spa....

"My family of 5 (3 kids, 2 adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Concarneau at this property. The location is ideal. We enjoyed walking to the quick ferry to the walled part of the city. It was nice to be so close but to return to the quiet neighborhood that the home is in. The back of the living room opens up (triple doors) to the view of the harbor. Watching the boats come and go was very relaxing. The house had everything we needed (appliances and amenities) and is a short walk from a grocery...

"Tolle Lage, wie beschrieben. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Haus hat es an nichts gemangelt. Sitzgruppe im Wohnzimmer und auf der Terrasse wurden modernisiert und waren bequem. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich. Wir können das Haus wärmstens weiter empfehlen und möchten sehr gerne wieder kommen. "

Effectively, the property is in Trevignon which has fantastic small beaches and some great restaurants, run by friendly and efficient staff - It could do with a shop and even a small boulangerie as whilst the drive into Tregunc for bread was worth it, it was a bit of a chore! "Disappointed. We were not aware that the owners had four large, boisterous dogs one of which was very aggressive. The facilities were basic. We were surprised that we had to light an antiquated boiler each time in order to obtain hot water. There was no WiFi connection. Although the property was described as being in Concarneau, it was some distance from the town. There was no information provided as to how to locate the property apart from a small map which was far from adequate. Luckily, the...

"We had a wonderful three weeks in an enchanting house in one of the best parts of Brittany. No crowds at this time of the year, peaceful surrounds, stunning views from the house and garden of the ever-changing sea and tides. The house was extremely well-equipped and comfortable. At the high end of rents but worth it."

"Was greeted by the owners who were very informative. House is lovely and spotless. A cost of €15 for each bed is a little excessive, €5 per towel is expensive. We had to buy hand soap and tea towels as these were not supplied (thought the would be)! Garden is massive and we had full use of bicycles, surfboards and garden toys. Great place to stay although the stairs are polished which makes them slippy (one of our party fell down the bottom few on day of departure) . Apart from the few negatives...

"Comfortable accommodation, with easy access to the small ferry which takes you across to the Old Town. Well equipped kitchen although a good choice of restaurants in the town itself. Good links to routes to a range of picturesque beaches. Overall, an excellent break!"

"The house is absolutely beautiful and space inside perfect for our group of 12. The garden and pool are also ideal. However the noise, which was by no means excessive for 6 kids age 10 and under having fun in a pool, was a problem for the close proximity of the neighbours which was a shame."

Le chemin côtier pour accéder à la ville close est vraiment à pratiquer ainsi que le GR. L'appartement est propre, pratique et très lumineux, c'est vraiment une bonne adresse."

"Alain’s house blends modern comforts with classic character. Great location and comfortable accommodation. We enjoyed being able to walk off the garden gate to the very close beaches. The town is charming and the region has lots to offer - rugged coastline and picturesque landscapes, rich historical heritage, good gastronomy, and very welcoming hosts."

"Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Port Manec'h dans ce gite bien équipée et idéalement situé. Nous avons apprécié la cuisine bien équipée, l'excellent WIFI et le mobilier de jardin qualitatif. Les chambres ne sont pas grandes et un peu sombres. Mais cela nous a pas dérangé car il faisait beau et nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à la plage toute proche et dans le beau jardin. Nous recommandons pour des vacances à la plage en famille. "

"This was a two night stay during a 10 day holiday in France. The hotel quality in all respects was excellent. The spa was enjoyable with an excellent range of facilities. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. The locality is wonderful close to the old city and lovely coastal walks. Recommended!"
