"Possibly one of the most stunning hotels we have stayed in. The Lyrath grounds are gorgeous and only surpassed by the stunning interior courtyard reception area that greets you when you first arrive. Everything from the multiple restaurants to the bar and lounge areas, this place just wraps you in comfort. Keeping with the decor of the lobby, our hotel room was more like a full suite with separate rooms for changing, bathing and sleeping. Heated bathroom floors, a 4 piece ensuite bathroom...

"Very well located in the heart of Kilkenny, the hotel is ideal. The only drawback is parking, but there is a car park close by for about €15 a day. Our room was large, airy, well furnished and generally felt pleasingly

All the hotel staff were very professional and friendly especially Oscar at reception who assisted with our requests and made our stay the most memorable. "Had a fantastic night in this hotel. Lovely staff and very helpful. The staff upgraded my room to a deluxe as it was my birthday and I hadn't even known only for my girlfriend had asked to upgrade. When I needed a phone charger they were quick to assistance with a USB type extension lead so I went out to hit the town fresh and recharged. I would happily come back to this hotel and I am currently planning to. "

"The room was small, clean, and comfortable; the bathroom clean (but not completely spotless--a little mold in the shower grout wasn't really concerning). The staff I interacted with (including the owner) were not just polite but personable. And the breakfast offering was well above average. The pizza I had in the hotel restaurant, however, was mediocre, but the bartender/waiter was terrific--a master at both crafts."
