"The house was well appointed and had plenty of space for four people. Ample privacy as the bedrooms/bathrooms were at were at opposite sides. Great conveniences such as washer and dryer. A car is a necessity if you stay here as it in the countryside, but the area is quiet and peaceful. Everybody we encountered in the local community was friendly. We would suggest a toaster in the kitchen, but with all dishes, pots/pans provided it was a minor inconvenience. Our only complaint was the fact we had...

"The property was great! It was clean and modern and had onsite laundry which was a plus! The host was easy to reach and they provided all the items you would need for your stay. Would definitely book again!"

"A literal hidden gem in the traditionally eorking class neighborhood in Port of Spain. The studio is as pictured with a clean, spacious, well appointed kitchenette; a full bathroom with modern fixtures and working air conditioning that's perfect for the steamy nights. Walkable to the Savannah, downtown Port of Spain, historical sites and all the Carnival related activities. Several layers of security are in place but you never feel surveiled. The local police, emergency services and hospital...

"Our theme song…When last u been to TnT and yu room not ready Oh Ohhh …. Long Time… No toilet at night (no water)…. The WiFi did come before we when to sleep that night. BUT the people are good hearted people and tried to make the best of the stay. BIG Tanks to the back up maid for coming out and setting us up the best she could."

"We have visited 15 Caribbean Islands and Trinidad ranks high on the list, and no doubt Bridge Cabin played a major role. Nothing like being awakened by the sounds of Parrots and Toucans in the treetops around you. Absolutely would stay here again. Once you get used to navigating the roads necessary to reach the cabin, you will absolutely be in love! (Also of note, be sure to come in from the North Coast Rd side, not up Paramin Hill!!! )"

There is no air conditioning in the living room area, this added amenity would have made the stay much better for family time instead of each of us having to revert to the coolness of our respective bedrooms. "Glendon has a beautiful home that is surrounded by a secured gate and protected with an alarm system. Her home easily accommodated my 20 family members and friends, who came on our trip, and could’ve easily accommodated to additional guest for a total of 22. Her cooking is amazing, there is a neat surprise that the entire family will enjoy in the backyard, and she was a wealth of information, including helping to know the best places to go and securing transportation. "From the moment we arrived, the Shirleys Retreat team welcomed us with open arms! The house itself had everything one could possibly need and more. The location was very convenient and safe and the excursions suggested were perfect. While offering us transportation options, having a helpful host and also fresh bread to order, everything was in place for perfect, relaxing vacation. We cannot wait to come back! The pool area provided a relaxing atmosphere with stunning views. The staff were exceptionally friendly, particularly Melissa and Amanda, who offered excellent service and made us feel truly welcome.
