"As soon as you stepped through the hotel doors the view was stunning. Everything about the hotel was amazing and I would definitely recommend. We got an Uber to get to the old town on most days which was under 10 euros each time. There is public transport and a walk would be nice but it was too hot for us to want to attempt. "

"Excellent facilities at the Valamar Lacroma which ad a real luxury feel. The views of the islands from the hotel were excellent especially at sunset from the Vero bar. The bus to Old Town was easy to catch from outside the hotel and only €2. We had the best time and would recommend to anyone. "

"Breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of choices. The property is well maintained with courtesy staffs. Room was clean. Guest can use all other swimming pools and restaurants within the resort. For every 15 minutes, there is a bus near the hotel going to the Pile Gate of the city wall. The bus stop is only a 3-minute walk from the hotel and it is the beginning/final stop of the ride."

"This is a lovely hotel, with amazing views. Easy to get to Dubrovnik old town on the bus right outside. The pools are great, although a little cold. Our room was lovely too. Only issue was the tv channels dont work very well. Terrible picture when my husband tried to catch the end of a Euro football match. Otherwise its a beautiful hotel and place to visit."

"We have just returned home from this hotel and I must say for the price I was really impressed. The complex is clean and all the staff are friendly. A variety of restaurants but they do all serve similar food but that wasn’t an issue for us. They cater for all tastes even fussy eaters which we needed. The shop is somewhat expensive but that is to be expected on a complex like this. The rooms are comfortable and our self catering apartment was well equipped. Cleaning came in every morning. The stairs are steep so might be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. No air con in the smaller room but found if my son slept with the door open, and the air con on downstairs then it filtered up to his room adequately. Our balcony was small, others where bigger but again wasn’t an issue for our party. The pool area is nice, the pool doesn’t feel busy even when all the beds are full. I’d happily come back here again. "
