"We stayed at Frenchy’s Hideaways in the Black Hills. It is a perfect location for visiting Mount Rushmore, Custer Stare Park, Sylvan Lake, Crazy Horse, and the Needles Hwy. Such a beautiful area! The cabin was perfect for my husband, dog and myself. With a full kitchen, we weren’t forced to eat out every day and had more time to explore the area. The location was perfect as a central spot for us be able to visit the areas we were hoping to see. "

"We were looking for a clean, comfortable, safe and quite rental near the town of Custer, SD and this property fit perfectly. It was located very close to Custer but situated so that it felt more like a stay in the mountains. There were 5 adults in our party and the home fit our group comfortably. We would stay here again."

"This was a great place to stay. The cabin was wonderful, the quiet was excellent, and it was easy to access. I would have given 5 stars, but some basic amenities like hand soap and shower soap should be provided or it could be clearer that these basics will not be there. An extra blanket for anyone staying during the colder months would also be appreciated. Other than that, I loved it!"

"Enjoyed our stay--very comfortable room and beautiful property, and very quiet environment. We were there by ourselves most of the week but when we had neighbors, the walls are pretty thin so that's my only negative. It's a bit of a drive to get down the dirt road but so nice when you get there."

"My spouse and I shared the cabin with my parents when we were in Custer for a family function. Our stay was comfortable and the cabin was well-stocked with anything that we might have needed. We hope to come stay again soon! "

"The cabin is pristine, and Lori has been so thoughtful in every nook, cranny, and corner of it. The Bose system for music, the already-prepared firewood and starters - hard to list it all but you'll feel how thoughtful she's been as you explore inside. The lack of light pollution is completely true - we actually saw the milky way on the first night, which was mind-blowing. Download a 'stars' app and spot them all while you soak in the hot tub. Pure bliss. Something that really struck me was...

"Place was quiet and clean and convenient to Custer State Park. Lots of deer, turkeys, etc around the property and Forest Service trails are just across the road. Be aware this is not a separate cabin, it is a unit in a building of three units so you will likely have neighbors. That was not at all clear from the online listing. Fortunately it was not a big issue during our trip, but it could be if neighbors are loud or have lots of kids."

"My wife and I enjoyed our second stay at Linda's property. It is quiet, clean and private. Linda is a great host and very responsive. "

"Our stay was great. The cabin was lovely. The only issue was our check-in. The owner wasn’t aware of our booking so it made for a rocky start, but Deb was accommodating and polite. We enjoyed our quiet weekend. "

"This cabin was just beautiful. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Our kids are 13, 10, 8, and 7. They played all the games and loved watching the turkeys and deer. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts were quick to respond to my questions and very kind. The location was perfect for us, we had attractions to see in every direction. I wish we could have stayed longer."

"Our stay was lovely. Bathroom looked new. Sheets were soft and clean. Staff was kind and helpful. The only complaint I have is the pillow options. All of the pillows were too fluffy and hard for me. Otherwise a great, clean, safe place to stay. "
