"The property was a little run down. It was in a very isolate area so a car is a must. The house next door was in the middle of refurbishment so quite a lot of banging throughout the day and they also has a few dogs that barked quite a lot. There was only a 2 ring hob so it was quite difficult to cook a meal for 5. It was also very difficult to actually find the villa as we were not given the full directions before arrival. There was a consistent bad smell in the downstairs bathroom and the air...

"We had a great time at the Villa. Beautiful location. Loads to do in the area. Great beaches. We loved the aqua park, 10 mins away. Aircon works well. Beds comfortable. Bed linnen attractive, clean and fresh. Washing machine very useful. Kitchen well equipped. Great fridge freezer, a good size. Plenty of space for all your groceries. Bill the owner is great at getting back to you quickly uf you have any questions. Would stay there again."

"This is a newly renovated property and it is very clean and above normal standard for the area. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. There is a supermarket 1 minute walk away and a restaurant in the hotel (free breakfast buffet). There is also a very good pizza/italian restaurant just 1 minute walk away. "The villa is just perfect. There are 3 big double bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. One of the bedrooms is annexed to the main house, which is perfect for parents who want a bit of space away from older children. Everything you need is there, it really feels like home. "We have stayed at this hotel many times and keep on returning, which is the best recommendation we can give. The reception staff is always alert and willing to help. There are few "down issues" one being a chronic problem trying to turn off lights over the bed. It is an electric wiring defect. Again, reception staff are ready to help. I have not stayed at many hotels in Varna, but will return to the Golden Tulip when the time comes"

"Nice rooms but pools were missing tiles. I had higher expectations of the restaurant for a five star hotel. Some of the local staff members were rude - especially this middle aged male server who almost yelled at me for wanting a drink. He messed up the drink anyway - ordered a Cabernet and he brought me white wine. The bellboy was very kind and helpful but the lady at the reception who checked us in was merely mean. Long wait times for everything. Tiny indoor pool."
