"I was elk hunting near Rico and used your room as my hunting camp. Didn't mind the bathroom being down the hall - much more comfortable than sleeping in a tent! (Yes, I got a big elk opening morning.) "

"Most of our extended family was able to meet here as a halfway point between Montana and Texas. It was an amazing get away for our large group with plenty of room for everyone to have space. The Mountain View’s were absolutely gorgeous. Mark was a wonderful host that made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. "

"We came from Texas for a white Christmas, and that is what we got. The tree was beautiful for all of the gifts we brought. We also made Christmas dinner on Christmas day and with what I brought from home and what they had there in the kitchen we made it work. Water pressure was pretty good. With the amount of people we had, we spread our showers out, so everyone had hot water. The beds were comfortable for us. "We loved our stay at this cabin! It met all our needs for rooms and beds, and we especially loved that we could take our dogs. We took my parents-in-law, who stayed in the main level room with adjoining bathroom. My family and I stayed upstairs, with my youngest on the pull-out bed in the family room. "We.enjoyed our week in "Fort Dolores" so much. Hubby hunted in the nearby forest while i took walks around town, read, and knitted. We had some great meals.out in the evenings at local restaurants.
