"We had an Oceanview room in the new block. Couldn't fault it. The staff around the hotel were very accommodating and helpful. Shout out to Aneisha, who always provided excellent service with a smile. 😊 "

"We enjoyed our relaxing stay. The reflexology massage was amazing. The food was good although the menu was limited this time. We also had issues as our rooms did not have sockets for our adapter which meant my mum could not use her breathing machine at night and no adaptors were available. The overflowing bins were a bit of an eyesore as the rest of the grounds were very well kept. This is my second stay and I know we will be back. "

"The property was superb. It consists of 6 separate air conditioned cottages with ample space. Excellent dining on sight. Nice swimming pool and ocean views. Alicia is the owner and she was extremely helpful in terms of recommendations, making reservations, etc.. When Alicia was not available her associate Sheldon filled in. The staff was top notch. The downside of Dominica is the poor roads and infrastructure. We rented a car and found driving on the narrow serpentine roads stressful. Maybe it was being 73 years old and not used to driving on the L hand side. But whatever the reason, one must take driving into account when planning a vacation to Dominica."

"I stayed at Kootney Resorts for about 10 days for work and it was fantastic! Trish and Kyle were lovely hosts and tremendously helpful. Kyle in particular helped me repair some of my equipment, gave me all sorts of useful info on where to find things, and hooked me up withe the best cuisine in the area (he's a chef so he knows which places to eat). Since I was there on my own I ended up hanging out with Kyle quite a bit, really great guy with a dry sense of humor I really enjoyed. He also helped me out a number of times processing samples (I was there studying the hot springs). The bungalows were really great, super roomy, really nice, with full kitchens and plenty of space to spread my stuff out. The showers are fantastic! I want one at home. Next time I'm in Dominica I'm definitely staying at Kootney again and I'm bringing my wife, who I'm sure will love it. Can't recommend it highly enough, great place, great people, fantastic experience! "
