The room needed plug sockets next to the bed or phone charging facilities usc usb etc The bathroom was in need of an update. "we enjoyed our stay the room we had was nice the breakfast was cooked fresh and the staff were friendly. We were informed that our room was ready if we arrived early.The room we had was inviting with a good view of the beach from the window and plenty of storage for cloths so you did not live out of a suitcase . and only a short walk from the trajn station."

"We were attending a funeral so not a happy time. The only thing I could fault our stop over was that the nearest car park was 10 minuets away and was time limited which ment we had to go back to pay for our parking before the time limite was up"

"Location was good for Portland attractions. There was a problem with our room which was quickly sorted with the staff. Its a large old house quite dark and cold in the winter. Probably a better summer venue."

Lots of great places nearby for breakfast (nothing at the hotel but they do have complimentary hot drinks available). Friendly staff and easy check in and check out. Dodnt use the hotel parking but usedparking the pay and display just a couple of minutes walk away."
