"Marygreen Manor is a lovely 16th century Tudor building set about 1.5 miles from Brentwood town centre. Our twin room was spacious and comfortable, with 2 easy chairs by the window, overlooking the garden, a desk and chair, with a medium size TV on and kettle with teas, coffee and biscuits. The en-suite bathroom was adequate in size, exceptionally clean and modern. Our first night was a Saturday and they had a wedding reception on. "The goods: excellent location,the farewell receptionist polite,reasonably priced The bads: couldn’t find initially any member of staff to check me in and when I did she was very impolite,rooms facing the road despite secondary double glazing are noisy and woke up early, the shower needs a makeover as it’s very tired and old looking."
