"Beautiful, pristine home and great location. The house is close to town and stunning Lake Roosevelt and Columbia River. We were six adults and found the home to be very comfortable, spacious, and accommodating for us. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped. "This looks like your basic roadside motel, but it's quite lovely. The owners recently bought the place and the rooms have obviously been redone, and they're very cute and smart. Ours had a little kitchenette--I don't know if all rooms have one--but it was so nice to have! And the best thing about the Selkirk is that the owner bakes for the guests--fresh homemade pastries (along with fruit and yogurt) every morning, and homemade cookies every afternoon! It's a lovely touch and we really enjoyed our stay!"

"We had been travelling for 9000 KM's on a 3 week vacation and I wanted a nice cozy place to have ahot shower and relax and get ready for camping the next few days. I noticed the room didn't have a hair dryer, so I called the owner, and he had the housekeeper bring me one right away. We loved sitting on our patio chairs and just soaking up the calmness. "

"Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was decent. I do believe the couch was a pull out bed. We didn't need to use it. Has a small dinning area and desk. It's right across street from the store and gas station. Would definitely recommend. "

"We had a fun girls trip. Very clean accommodation's. The view is amazing! We sat outside and watched the deer across the way. The kitchen had everything we needed. A very unique place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. Communication with Zachary was excellent. You have to take the short hike to the top of the dome and get the full effect of the view! Oh, and our first night we listened to LP’s on the record player. That was a fun surprise! I plan on returning for a get away with my husband."

"We loved our stay at this cozy cabin on Curlew Lake. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided. The beds and seating are really comfortable. The location is excellent. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake (there is an eagle's nest directly across the lake on a little island), we kayaked with the provided kayaks and did a lot of biking on the Ferry County Rail Trail, which is adjacent to the property. The owner, Theresa, was friendly and answered any and all questions we had. I highly recommend!"
