"We had the best time at Serendipity Lake house. Chathuranga was warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, and the food is delicious. "Wow.... we were blown away when we first arrived at the Villa even though we arrived during a big storm! We stayed over Christmas and New Year with my parents and my teenage boys and we all had a wonderful time. "The hotel has character but it is very basic. Breakfast is not available. There is no restaurant. The wifi mostly did not work. There was a complex device for showers that did not work properly and flooded the bathroom. The towels had seen better days. There was no TV. "This hotel is a big con / rip off. THERE IS NO ROAD TO THIS PROPERTY. Must cross the jungle for 1/2 kilometers Don’t pick unless u have a Motorcross bike. "The property is located in a well kept garden next to a small but beautiful beach. Rooms are well kept and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and always willing to accommodate requests. Food was excellent, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfast. The menu has increased and has a great selection of Western and Asian dishes but is quite expensive."
