"The catering staff and the cleaning staff were doing a fine job . Unfortunately the front of house staff at reception were extremely poor constantly on their phones watching videos barely could they look up from said devices to say good morning or good evening. The hotel was dirty,noisy and outdated."

"O hotel é antigo, com móveis bons e de anos atrás, porém confortáveis! Colchões bons e bons travesseiros, toalhas de banho tinha apenas uma no quarto triplo, o banheiro tbm é antigo achei a pressão da água meio exagerada, estava com bebê então solicitei uma banheira plástica para dar o banho mais tranquila, mas não tinha ! Café da manhã muito gostoso! De maneira geral a estadia foi muito tranquila e positiva!"

"Nice clean hotel with great friendly staff. Breakfast was good and hotel restaurant was not a bad option for lunch. Language can be a barrier but solvable with google translate. Will stay here again on my next business trip."

"The pools look great! But, once you get in, it's just hard to find a comfortable position, like, the benches are either too high or too low and angled poorly so that your bottom side floats off. They were designed by someone that made them look good on paper, but, that person probably hasn't ever been in a pool. The pools were clean, uncrowded, and calm. The pool lounges were terribly uncomfortable because the straps are old and stretched and the metal bar runs right across the middle of your back. The food was average at best. I'm pretty sure most everything was frozen or canned. The coffee wasn't even brewed, it was the powder stuff from a machine. Geez, this is Brazil, brew the coffee. The building needs lots of maintenance. There are 440 rooms in this hotel. I was there during the week and I bet only about 25 rooms were rented. I don't know how this place is going to stay in business. Overall, it's a good value. My room rate was pretty low, so, I can't expect a lot. I got what I paid for. Except that it's rated as 4-star. It might be time to re-rate the hotel. I'm overall happy with my stay."

"The hotel overall was good for Rio Verde. The staff knew I was English and had limited Portuguese ; I had to make all efforts to translate. Also, a work friend from RV who visited a few times , to show me around RV and where to eat etc felt the staff were looking at her with curiosity and suspicion . I saw that also . None of their business ! The music act on Wednesday was good"
