"Nice Hotel. But as for all Scandic hotels in Sweden the breakfast is terrible. especially the bacon which doesn’t look or taste as bacon, the pancakes which should not be allowed to be called pancakes and the sausages are made from chicken which make me feel sick. Most other Swedish hotels serve a great breakfasts, but not Scandic. "

"Very high standards, excellent service and perfectly located in the city center if you drive (paid parking) is around the corner and if you come by train about 200 meters from the train station and close to the Central Square for acces to several buses! "Jag var väldigt nöjd med rummet och personalen var toppen. Hjälpsam när jag inte fattade hur jag fick på lyset i rummet och svarade med vänligt tålamod på mina frågor (kan vara lite frågvis och pratsam). Frukosten hade allt man kunde önska sig och supergott kaffe."

"It was OK stay, but it was really strange to have a kitchen in the cottage but no water. I understand that it's a camping and bathrooms are outside and shared, but at least having water in the kitchen would be a nice (or rather obvious) touch. Also, i got information about check in only via sms, would be nice to keep conversation in the email too to have all in one place. "

"Expensive for what it was, strange area in distant location from the train station. Nice people working the front desk, but compared to other hostels it seems strange to make someone pay for their sheets and towels. "

"We spent three nights here. The hotel is wonderful. Staff, breakfast and service was excellent. We will certainly stay here the next time we come to Karlstad. Also interesting history of the former prison and well designed museum. Highly recommended!"

"After two days of exhaustive work reenacting at krigsflygfält 16 and Karlstad, it was such a relief getting to be at a quiet, one person room over the night. It was clean and had many amenities. The staff, rooms and service was very comforting."
