"We enjoyed ourselves very much. The room was spacious, clean annd tidy, and had all the amenities. The high view overlooking the sea was amazing. Everything we needed was taken care of. Dinner and Breakfast was very sumptuous. Highly recommended!"

"Nice property just off the main street, near train station. It is pet friendly with 3 resident cats roaming around the lobby. You get to book 2 sessions at the baths after checked in, the semi open bath on the 2nd level is popular, while the rooftop bath may not be a good idea in cold weather although the view is great. You get free use of the bicycles for your stay. There is no lift so you have to carry your luggages up and down the stairs."

"Quiet location just a short walk from the train station. Superb ryokan experience with modern amenities throughout. If you’re fortunate enough to get a room with a private onsen, you can enjoy all manner of luxury beyond the available public onsen facilities. A great option to spoil yourself, if even for a night or two. "

"This is one of the best experiences I had. I enjoyed the authentic Japanese hospitality. I was greeted and escorted to the lobby. The staff led me to my room showing me all the facilities. The room is spacious and impeccably clean. The area is serene, and the Beppu Park is right next to the Hotel, which I enjoyed in a morning walk."

"It was the perfect place to get away and relax. All the staff were kind and provided exceptional service. But the public bath and the locker area were small and crowded. The sea view from the room was fantastic. "

"Had a lovely one-night staybat the resort. Enjoyed our private onsen and the many amenities the room offered (including no less than 4 different types of slippers :) for various uses. Breakfast selection was really good, with both a Japanese and Western spread. Would have loved to stay another night and discover Beppu a bit more."
