"This was the first time in many years the hotel did not put the breakfast out early for the hunters. I have chosen to stay at the Sparta Ramada because they have made that single concession every other year. I and my other hunting friends that have stayed here for years may look elsewhere in the future. The staff was friendly and have been around for years. "

"The room was lovely in the bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower should’ve been re-caulked and there was a huge leak of water through the shower door so you had to lay multiple towels on the floor."

"Our room was fine, nothing fancy, but we were only coming through town for some museums and got there late and left early the next day. They put us in a handicapped room which we didn’t need, but I guess no one else needed it either. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good, Belgian waffles, sausage and eggs, plus cereal, yogurt, etc. Very friendly staff. "

"Staff was very nice. We had requested a King bed, but due to renovations on all the King rooms, we got 2 queen beds, which was fine. Very quiet this time of year. A nice little getaway. "

"We needed a place for one night while on a long trip. It was very convenient from the highway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Not many dining options, but that is just this area. I would stay here again."

"The door to our room did not lock. The only way we could keep it closed to put the bar across the door. I came up from breakfast and didn't have to use my key. I could just push on the door, and it came open. The room really needed to be updated. the carpet was old. They're cracked tiles in the bathroom. There was mold in the caulking in the bathroom. There was a big black stain on the comforter. We heard the highway traffic all night through the windows. All they had for breakfast was toast,...

"The house is super cute! The renovation and decorations are very nice. Large dining table gave us room to all sit around and chat. Beds were comfortable. True to pictures."

"I loved the house but there were so many things wrong , it was hard to enjoy it. The cabin, porch,and grill were VERY dirty. Inside the floors were not mopped There were only seven forks( for up to 15 people.) I knew we would see a few bugs but i didn't count on multiple mice (which we saw every night) there were droppings and traps everywhere, so keep nothing on the counters! We never saw the dock it was to overgrown"
