"Our second year at Freshwind. A great house laid out really well for families with kids of all ages. Lots of space. Location is perfect. Rob was super helpful for everything we needed or asked for. "

"This is a well positioned property with some nice features. Hot tub was really great and probably the best shower we have ever had in a holiday rental! Plenty of off road parking. Although the property can sleep a large group there are no washing or toilet facilities upstairs which could be something to consider. Kitchen is modern but compact. Downstairs bedrooms have what you need in the space available. Garden accessed by a flight of steps. Worth taking a torch! Our dog loved the bed...

The only sadness was that the pub next door has closed its doors and the nearest options were a drive away. Otherwise a wonderful stay."

"This is a fantastic property for a large group. We were a group of work colleagues staying for a retreat weekend. The location is excellent and very relaxing. The house itself is very clean and is gorgeously decorated. The communication with the property manager was excellent throughout our stay and they were always on hand to help should we need it. "We really enjoyed our stay in this house. It was very clean and well equipped and decorated, also in a good location. A couple of things would have made it even better. We have rented many properties and I have stopped taking basic items such as washing up liquid and hand soap but there wasn’t any here. But when I messaged the contact number the lady brought them round which was brilliant service. You are also usually provided with a bath towel and hand towel but here it was just a bath towel...

Fantastic dog and child friendly stay

"Once again, an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff are so friendly and were really helpful and kind with my 1yr old. The pool area was pristine. The whole hotel is dog friendly and a very short walk to the beach which they loved. Fantastic options for Gluten free also. Hopefully be back again next February."

"Friendly, helpful, excellent staff caring and attentive. Hotel full of character and so welcoming. The room was large,clean and 4 poster bed very comfy. Breakfast was was fantastic,so tasty and filling. Great choice of evening meals, wholesome home cooked food. An enjoyable 2 night stay, thank you Gary and Veronica."

"The room was comfortable and well turned out. David who served us was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved it there. He knew we were leaving early so he made sure we were able to get some of the complimentary continental breakfast In general nice and personable touches "

Lovely atmospheric hotel

"Lovely atmospheric hotel with interesting architecture The staff were all very friendly and helpful The garden are nice even in February but too wet out to fully explore. Could do with a bit of touching up here and there but our room was very comfortable with the biggest shower ever!"

"A lovely friendly hotel. Very well kept. A nicely decorated room with lovely furniture. Great power shower! The only downside for me was the mattress, it just needs replacing. When you don’t sleep well it’s a shame. The breakfast was lovely, there was a large selection to choose from. A lovely stay!"
