"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. "You definitely need a car to get here Set in lovely open space Cooking facilities and fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer, so well equipped. Host friendly. "This is truly a gemstone - not in terms of fancy- fancy but rather solid, honest 3 Star in a superbly quiet and beautiful atmosphere. Easy walk to the largely unmolested beach, even easier walk to completely unchanged nature at the backdrop. GREAT breakfast! This to me is a bit like time travelling- in a good way! "

"This is a lovely hotel. The views over the north sea are spectacular, and the hotel has been recently renovated and is beautiful. The restaurant was excellent; I strongly recommend that you dine here and make dinner reservations when you book your room (as it can book up). The hotel is close to hiking trails and has fascinating WWII bunkers on the property. We booked a deluxe double room with a terrace and a sea view, which was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The room and facilities were fantastic. The only thing that ruined the stay was a horde of people coming into the common room area, dumping enough luggage to fill a 747 and have half a million people try and open our door. This was at 6am!"

"Veldig grei beliggenhet, fin standard. Var ingen rengjøring av rommet selv om vi hang ut skiltet på døren som det sto at vi skulle gjøre, men fikk nye håndkler én gang da vi la de brukte utenfor døra. Samme med dopapir, måtte sette den tomme kurven på utsiden av døra. "

"Great location for Blokhus beach and Farup Sommerland park. Free parking. No breakfast but huge well equipped kitchen with everything you could need Nice views and very quiet . Supermarkets nearby. Would definitely return here.Staff were very welcoming and friendly and helpful."

"No communication once we booked, so not told how to check in. Kind gentlemen in restaurant eventually helped us out. An email would have been helpful. Comfortable room and beds. Kitchen had no utensils at all. "
