"We needed a house to stay at near our friends house, for a friends gathering. It was a perfect place for the 4 couples to stay and share.Perks:Fully stocked kitchenlarge yard/deckmore that enough parkingbedrooms for all (and comfy beds too)everything you'd needbeautiful lake viewgreat price for all you getOnly 1 issue:The 1 TV was a struggle to operateOnly 1 Suggestion, but not necessary:The downstairs family room could be utilized better, game room? "We loved our stay! This property is adorable and cozy on the edge of the lake. Communication about access to the property was great. There is a long staircase which feels sturdy and was rather steep down to the house. We were there in January and the stairs stayed ice free although the deck iced over easily. We had no problems with grippy shoes.If planning to cook extensively I would recommend bringing additonal cooking implements. The kitchen is equipped with the basics and is hand wash only."

"I'd like to say I really enjoyed the stay. Overall, I was pleased.The rooms were clean and well maintained. And the location is near downtown which was nice.We didn't hear anything from our host during our trip.But you are in the basement, and so you will hear foot steps above you, along with the dog running around, and the TV. All are expected in a lodging.My wife did not like as much from the start. I guess I didn't tell her that this was a basement apartment, maybe I didn't read the listing...

"We loved the views. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The only concern was the chairs at the dining room table. The cross supports were not attached. We chose not to sit at the table. They may need to be replaced. A great place to watch the sunrise and sunsets. Close to hiking trails.We will come back. "
