"We just returned home from our weekend at Outdoorsy hill country. This was a wonderful glamping experience. Kaylie went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. Everything was supplied, beds/bedding were very comfortable, our tent was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed riding the golf cart around the property and seeing all of the deer. "I had a wonderful stay here,it was so quiet and peaceful on the grounds. I saw deer very often just walking around,it was amazing. The cabin itself was quaint,it fit my family. It was close enough to town without it being overwhelming. The winery had many great options of wine. I got a flight and the guy pouring the wine was very knowledgeable and funny. I wouldn't definitely book here again."

"Everything was great! Lots of little extras to enhance our stay. The hot tub worked great and we used it every day. The kcup choices were fun, and the kitchen had everything you might need. Electronics were easy to use. Everything was very clean!"

"The stand alone house is small but perfect for the two of us. We chose it because they allowed our dog but would gladly stay again even without him! The only snag was the wi fi login and password had changed and took several hours to get figured out. When we come back we will try and book La Rouge first!"

"The property itself is really nice. Free internet washing dryer was a big help. It was very cosy and quiet which is what was important to me. Mickey was very communicative and helpful during the entire process. I can't recommend enough staying here. Thank tou for everything!"

"Two king sized bedrooms-though one is very tight. No place to open luggage so we used the twin bedroom for luggage and dressing. Two full baths with walk-in showers. Well equipped kitchen. Love the outdoor firepit. The host was always accessible and communicated with us promptly. One suggestion: the stone steps to get to the porch are Breaking up and are steep. A hand rail for balance would be very helpful for your older guests. We had two almost falls. Also the dishwasher didn’t work. We...

"The process was simple and the hosts instructions were very easy to follow. The stay was amazing in every way to the cleanliness of the property to feeding the deer every morning and dusk. It was really close to main street so going out during the day to see Fredericksburg and returning at night was a huge plus. Lynne and Jerry were the best hosts and they made our stay very pleasant and wonderful! Will definitely be booking with them again in the future "

"My friend and I loved the history this home held, along with the modern flare. The location is great for downtown shopping and restaurants. We noticed some minor cleaning issues, like behind the furniture in the living room (we weren't looking for issues, but noticed). Also, be aware the roof is tin, and the falling acorns can make weird noises at night. That being said, we would be happy to stay here again. "
