"Due to COVID-19, This hotel(old Japanese house) recommend to use family to avoid risk from that. I think better to stay April , May, Sep and Oct to avoid high temperature and cold temperature. "

"We loved our stay here - our room was large and comfortable and well equipped and the breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect - so close to the station but also walkable distance to all the main sights. Only downside to our room was that there are no windows to open and the one window was frosted. Beware that while there are lifts inside, it’s about 30 steps up to reception which can make for a challenging time with luggage! "

"We stayed in the family suite. The design was well thought out and the beds were comfortable. The location was across the street from a 7 Eleven which was super convenient. There is a ramen place next door. It is a close walk to the bus station and you can walk from the hotel into town. Overall it was a really pleasant stay for a family of 5."

"The property is very close to Takayama train station and bus terminal. The owner is kind to send directions with photo in details so we can find the apartment easily. But directions to enter the room not very clear and it took us some time to enter the room.
