"This was a spacious, well-appointed, beautiful home that allowed our large extended family to spend a great holiday together. The owner was easy to communicate with and we found the property to be just what we needed. Even enjoyed the light coating of snow throughout the day and evening to make the views and vistas even more breathtaking!"

"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. "Nicely designed and well-furnished home with a massive yard for our pup to run and play in the snow! Ben was very communicative and let us know about a temporary internet outage that was promptly resolved within a couple hours. The home is very clean and has everything you need for a lovely winter getaway. We didn’t go skiing this time, but it is close to the town of Stowe and the slopes. "We had an excellent stay at this property. Garrett was very responsive throughout the trip. The check in process was incredibly easy and there was tons of parking. The location truly can’t be beat, the two minute walk to the village was so convenient for dining and grabbing supplies at the county store. Our toddler and dog loved playing in the snow in the large area right outside the unit. The beds were incredibly comfortable and kitchen very well stocked for cooking as well. We cannot wait to...

"This place was great! Cute and cozy, extremely close (3 minute drive) from the free lot at the Stowe Cross Country Center where you can pick up a free shuttle to the mountain, and within walking distance of a corner convenient store that has everything you would need for a weekend getaway. We loved the decor of the place, and would absolutely stay here again. "

"This home was cozy and comfortable for a group of 8 and perfect for our pets who enjoyed the outdoors and gated space. The Hot tub was an huge bonus after long days of skiing. Easily accessible from main road so you don’t have to travel on many snow covered side roads and short drive to Smugglers Notch. . We are looking forward to our next trip back. "

Smugglers' Notch Relaxing Mountainside Retreat

Brief winter visit

"We are from Florida had never stayed in northern Vermont and we up for some skiing and visiting winter. This retreat worked great. Exactly as described, it is a cozy spot nestled in the mountains a short walk to Smuggler’s Notch Ski Resort and under an hour to Stowe on the other side of the mountain (when Rt 108 is closed for the winter). A great base camp to explore the area and get in some winter sports. It had everything you need and everything went very smoothly. Thanks for a great winter visit. "
