"Spent the weekend there with my family. Excellent communication with the property owners. The drive to the cabin had some pretty vistas. The cabin is perfect! It was clean and cozy. We loved watching the sunrise from inside the cabin in the mornings. Stargazing on the deck at night. Shower had great water pressure and good hot water. It was a perfect escape from the city. We will definitely be back! Only thing to point out, there are hunters in the woods. We weren’t aware of that and the sounds...

"My friends and I loved having our annual retreat at this house. Spacious, comfortable, quiet, it had everything we needed. There is a jacuzzi on the back porch overlooking a private lake and wooded area. There are paddle boats to enjoy and the lake is stocked with catfish. The owner is available and gracious. Our getaway was to enjoy the fall colors on the Talimena drive however rain and fog prevented us from seeing much which resulted in spending more time at the cottage. Make sure and take sweetener, coffee and singles, groceries, hand soap, and all bath essentials when you visit. 5 minutes to drive out. Way back and secluded. Visit DG on 259 for supplies and snacks before you drive there. We had a nice, restful stay. "
