"Unique building to which name "Cupula" applies. Staff really endeavors to serve guests. Spectacular views, charming llamas hang out in hotel's garden area. The hike up the panoramic hill overlooking Lake Titticaca is right up the street. Restaurant (dinner weekends) is really nice, especially the servers. Very quiet location two blocks uphill. "

"First off there was no stay! The hotel did not have our reservation, as confirmed by Hotels.com, and reserved on 2/1/2024. So, we did not have a place to stay even after the reservation was booked and confirmed by the hotel. We tried on numerous occasions to have the hotel do the right thing and they refused. Now they are also keeping my money $189 for 2 nights. Lesson learned, don't frequent this hotel. We decided to stay in Isla de Sol instead after a last-minute hotel scramble. It was wonderful. So, poor manager, poor management, and outright dishonest and certainly a hotel I would steer clear of. I also can't believe that this is the only time this has happened at this hotel. "This is a special place, really lovely people take great care to cook delicious meals, keep gardens looking beautiful, and give recommendations on what to do and see. Loved the room too. Be warned you do have to walk uphill a while to get there, was tough for us as we hadn’t acclimated to the elevation. But we’ll worth it!"
