"Based on other Hampton Inn's I've stayed at this one, while new & very clean, is overpriced for what you get. Comfortable bed & very good breakfast, but otherwise rather "bare-bones" -- very poor lighting in room, only one uncomfortable chair in room meant for 4 people, no glasses for water (only cardboard coffee cups), smallish towels, cheapest toilet paper, no hotel info other than by QR code on phone. Front desk personnel was very pleasant."

"As Michigan travellers, we have stayed in many hotels and motels. This was the best in a long time (very clean and loved the bed). It was a last minute trip for New Year's Eve and I was able to book a room in the evening that was immediately available for us settle into with 24-hour check-in. "The cabin was charming and clean! It was a super easy check in and check out. Even though it was close to a busy road, we enjoyed a quiet stay. We didn’t notice any traffic noise until well into the morning hours. It was centrally located to get to all main attractions easily and quickly. We will be back!"

"The location was great for getting to all the areas we love in NW michigan and the resort property itself is AMAZING as always - but the condo is dated, should offer more linens for the stay due to the fact that there is no washing/drying machine available. Just didn't get a good "clean at home" kind of feeling - the vent when you enter good use a good wipe down. It's the first thing you see! "

"We LOVE the Alpine. It's in a quiet location and the staff are wonderful! The rooms are always spotlessly clean. The Alpine is no-frills, but that makes it nice. Just a quaint, quiet place to relax in a spacious, clean room. The staff are friendly and courteous and We've stayed there twice now, and both stays were excellent. Much better than in one of the "brand name" hotels."
