"Arrived earlier and sent out at 35'C despite rooms available. I came back as indicated at 4 pm. Room allocated dirty briefly not made ready. After insisting another room was provided. Staff arrogant and not helpful but not in purpose. They are like that by nature I suppose, as no apologise given."

"We went with my son age 9 and he loved the pools. It was very handy for the beautiful beach and Atlantic Sea. It was also very convenient for the Carrefour Contact supermarket and all the bars, shops and restaurants in town. We had a studio for x4 people ( we were a group of 3) and it was perfectly adequate. "Lovely staff. Rooms were basic but clean (could use some conditioner and washcloths). Lobby was nice and the pool was a highlight. Perhaps as a wellness resort more bottled or refillable water options could be provided?"

"The pool was lovely . There are several restaurants within easy walking distance. Disliked the number of rules at the property -for instance you cannot have your own food and drinks on terrace/ in room yet they sell no food and only a minimal drink selection. The shower needs to be hooked up as holding it in your hand to shower in 2022 really isn’t acceptable . Rooms need updating . "

"This is our second visit and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Our hosts were friendly and attentive, the breakfast superb and the bed extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend Villa Maya Uma. "

"We spent two great weeks in the beautiful Villa 31! The house was clean, comfortable and we had all that we needed as a group of 8 adults and 5 childs. We enjoyed the great pool, the garden, the landscape and the Atlantic Ocean! Cécile and Jesus were very nice and helpful all the time - thank you Both very much!"

"An amazing location right by the beach and an easy walk into the main town. The onsite pool was good to relax and take a dip in too. The 'cottage' itself had everything we needed for our stay. Some windows and door looked a bit tired and in need of some painting / upgrading."

Was wonderful to sit on the front decking listening to the water, seabirds and nightingales Cabin fantastically well equipped for both cooking and eating. Beds were comfortable A simple, homely cabin. Not for you if you are used to 5* hotels. Fabienne was there to greet us and made us feel very welcome "
