"We arrived and they didn’t have our booking despite proof on my Hotels.com app. They then said check in was at 14:00 whereas my booking showed 12:00. It took them until 13:30 and several looks at the app to finally show us to our room. The room was dirty and the beach in front of the hotel wasn’t great. We moved 500 metres down the beach where it was much nicer. Breakfast wasn’t great either. Cold food and coffee followed 10 mins after we had finished. We won’t be returning."

"This large aparthotel is a peaceful retreat in a quiet, scenic location with a beautiful pool and direct beach access. there are a few nearby dining options, also the well-equipped kitchens makes self-catering easy. Spacious rooms, beautiful surroundings and great amenities create a relaxing, informal escape perfect for unwinding. will recommend to my friends "

Great gem of a place

"This was a gem. Very pretty beach and close to pigeon island for snorkeling. Room was great. Breakfast was lovely. Staff super friendly and helpful. Pool was lovely too. Bar area was good. It was pretty quiet due to low season but felt like we were still well looked after. "

Beach Hotel in Uppuvelli

"Easy walk to the beach. Lovely swimming pool. Good Sri Lankan breakfast. Room is fairly small but has all you need. Good airconditioning. TV with English film channels. Bathroom, - shower with hot water. Kettle teabags etc. Good WiFi. Close to restaurants and bars. Generally very pleasant and good value for money. Staff friendly and efficient."
