"This resorts is fantastic. It has been recently renovated and the vibe is clean and modern. Staff is nice. Not overly friendly but also are very respectful and provide great service. Shows are good. Specially Wednesday night which is Mexican night. What I love the most is that we never had to rich to gain a chair by the pool or a table in any of the restaurants. The hotel is spacious and you never feel overwhelmed by other people. At least during this time of the year, June. Also be aware that the vibe tends to be chill so if you are looking for hard party style this is not your place. Bars are all well equipped and tasty drinks. Some things could be better. The main restaurant buffet style is uneventful. Food is just ok. They never varied their breakfast menu so it is pretty boring. The tv in our room kept turning itself on and kept us awake. There is no way how to turn it off. So far it is a very good place. We would go back! "

"We had a fabulous time at the Rui Vallarta. The food was just great considering the number of people vacationing. We could also find all the specialty drinks our hearts desired. The beach was beautiful with the warmest Pacific waters we’ve been in. The staff was exceptional. Mimi was an excellent physical activities instructor and we had VIP treatment from Richard at the steakhouse. I’d highly recommend this resort for a fun, friendly and affordable vacation. "

"Staff was amazing. Food was really good, just wish they had more options for breakfast. Drinks were good, the ones at the lobby bar and the one next to the Japanese restaurant were the best. Japanese restaurant was great. I overall loved the property, it was really relaxing and felt more in nature. The beach club wasn’t too far, just wish they had more beach chairs. Rooms were clean and spacious. Would really recommend "
