5/5 Excellent
"We stayed overnight on our way across the country to see a sick family member. The room was clean, the shower was hot, the AC was cold, the bed was comfy, the staff was accommodating & friendly, and there was a Love’s conveniently located right across the street! Everything was great!
To address a couple of concerns in other reviews that almost stopped us from booking here:
1. “The AC didn’t work.” The AC works just fine. If your room, like our bedroom, is missing the plaque to let you know, the thermostats are not the units themselves - they are on the walls. Ours was right next to the doorway. A quick look around and you will find it.
2. “It wasn’t clean.” It was clean. Yes, some normal, *light* wear and tear/signs of usage on *some* things, but certainly not dirty.
3. “It smelled bad/weird/funny.” Could be because my husband and I are both military veterans and have had the fortune of being exposed to other cultures around the world, but to us it smelled DELICIOUS! My husband and I actually joked about staying a couple extra nights to befriend the staff so they would invite us to eat with them.
Bottom line, we enjoyed our stay and we would be absolutely happy to book a room here again. "
