"The hotel is in a private concession (owned by the local tribes) within the Kgalagadi national park. A truly beautiful place, though hard to get to. The location is incredibly peaceful and picturesque, and I am very happy we got to see it. The hotel is also owned by the community, though managed by a professional manager. "Hotel room was new and modern. Checkin staff were very efficient. Wifi worked well. Restaurant seemed underprepared for everything, however. I got dinner after a long wait but the restaurant had run out of gas for other patrons. At an early breakfast, they were already out of eggs and coffee and I waited again. This seems like a lovely hotel in a country setting with good facilities and views - it just needs better restaurant service. And if you do not eat red meat, get dinner in town...
