"Great hotel close to Blenheim Palace and Bicester. Lovely breakfast. Only rating 4 stars as really difficult to get in contact with hotel beforehand but once we were there the staff was lovely and the hotel was a really convenient spot for our trip. We will definitely return on our next visit to Blenheim. "

"I booked a last minute stay for one night for my mother, son and myself. Communications were excellent before arrival, parking in hotel car park was easy and check in was efficient. As it is a listed building there is no lift which was an issue for my mum who struggles with stairs ( we were on top floor) but for myself and son, it was fine. "Excellent location in charming countryside and just a short drive to Witney and Burford. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Historic property with traditional pub feel, a log fire, cosy armchairs and nice gardens. Food in the pub was standard pub fare, fairly average and expensive but you are paying for the location. We had a lovely stay here."
