"We booked this small hotel without knowing the area. Philippsburg is not the most popular stopping place for tourists, but we liked it for it's authenticity and quiet. We walked around the village and the nearby lake and the surrounding forests were wonderful."

"The staff were extremely nice and wonderful, the room was nothing like the picture, the bathroom had mold not the greatest. Breakfast I paid when I got there and it was very limited also paid for dinner and all they had were hamburgers fries and other little things. Definitely eat out if you stay there. If it were not for the staff being so nice I would have probably given them a one star. Way over priced so sorry I used my points on this. "

"The house was wonderful!!! We had a fantastic stay. It was so clean and well equipped for our family of 5. We have a baby and the house provided a crib and high chair. Everything was perfect!!"

"Tania and her 'family' (including Gascon, the chien) made us feel most welcome. Her knowledge of the area and the information she provided enabled us to take advantage of local activities and Vosges walks. The accommodation was spacious, well equipped and thoroughly cleaned. We enjoyed a very comfortable week there."

"Location is magical in a beautiful forest in the middle of nowhere (and yet only 10-15 min drive to civilisation and 60 min. to major Alsace attractions). Food is star league, room is great in every aspect we hade a wonderful 2 night stay."
