"I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. "This is a lovely hotel. I debated whether to give 4 or 5 stars. There are a couple of quirky things though: 1) When turning out the lights at night in the room, it’s like lighting up a Christmas tree - everything has blue, red or green lights — the TV, the phone, the thermostat, the CO2 detector, the huge EXIT sign above the door…bring an eye mask! 2) Even though there is a thermostat in the room, it is not controlled by the guest…after several hours of attempting to set the thermostat, we...
