"I was volunteering in Lourdes for 5 days and needed a reasonably priced place to stay. The Villa Mariale was the best price. I realised that I had stayed there some years before, when it was called something else. It hasn’t changed much, but at least, this time bath towels were included. I didn’t cook, but there was a fully equipped kitchen area if you wanted to do your own cooking"

"Super séjour à la Mongie avec une visite du pic du midi avec un temps exceptionnel . Le gîte était confortable pour 4 personnes bien équipé et propre juste une petite remarque vérifier que la bonde de la douche soit nettoyée. Heureusement que le monsieur qui s'occupe du logement était là à notre arrivée car je n'avais pas le numéro de l'appartement. À par ça parfait."

"This property is fantastic. It is well placed and very private. The garden is superb with thought and detail put into it. The couple who rents it are lovely and responsive to any questions or issues. I highly recommend renting this house!"

The views down the Aure valley from the large deck towards Sait-Lary, the mountains beyond, and Spain are a stunning backdrop for a morning coffee and/or a drink after a day of walking in the beautiful Pyrenees. The house is in a lovely little, quite village on the valley side. It's large, very well appointed, detached and surrounded by garden on all sides. "The food service was treble and very disappointing, was given cold onion soup, pizza was awful, the lady serving us was nice but everything from the get go wasn’t professional. I was served wrong soup to start with(soup of the day which I didn’t order) secondly it took more 30 minutes to get my food while my wife finished her salad, thirdly both my pizza and onion soup served the same time. I was so disappointed but the front desk staff was excellent and professional. I will never eat in that restaurant if I ever come back to Lourdes.Dr.Mike"

"The hotel is not the most modern, but it was clean and close to the sanctuary. The decor in the hallway is quite dated but our room was updated with newer amenities (sink, shower and commode). The front desk staff was helpful and spoke English. The restaurants attached to the hotel were always quite busy. I would recommend staying here most fir it’s convenient location."
