"it was good except for noises from other guests as early as 5:50 AM! Some chose to talk over their phone outside their bedroom, outside our bedroom window loudly for an expended period of time."

"Pros: nice small pool, the view, the waves 10-15 meters from house, friendly owner. Quiet headland location, Scoglitti village 10 mins drive with basic amenities nice grocers and bakers etc. No tourists in October. Informal and simple lifestyle for a chill out. Accoms for 11 in a 3 bed and 4 doubles. Nice outside sun area overlooking the Med. if you want an unsophisticated chill out place for a large group away from it all then this would suit. Beach access 2 mins away but littered as are many...

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Alvise’s country cottage! He was incredibly friendly and helpful as a host. The location has a beautiful view and lots of privacy, which was more than worth the price. We were able to get some much needed rest and visit the surrounding sites, such as Cefalù, with ease. We would definitely return given the chance."

"Stunning location. Lovely host and super helpful nephew - nothing was too much trouble. . Beach a short walk away - will give you a good work out though! Remote but drive away from shops in Siculiana and other remote beaches along the coast. We had the best time. Thank you."

"Our group covered friends and family aged 21 - 80+. This beautiful property had everything we needed; gorgeous views, multiple eating areas, lovely pool, fruit trees, lovely bedrooms, table tennis area, BBQ and even a pizza oven. Plus Amica, the gorgeous and adorable owners dog. The photographs do not do it justice! We had a great two weeks, and wished it could have been longer The local area is great, The hosts were charm themselves and so helpful. Top quality holiday location . "

"Everything was perfect. Only mosquitos were pain and very bad wifi connection and not reception at all. But in fact this might be taken as positive fact 😉 Path to the sea direct from the garden was steep but short. Most of the time we were almost alone on this beautiful beach with great acces to the water. I regreted not to take my paddleboard with me. Great conditions for SUP. Kids were playing for hours in this shalow water and sand. Supermarkets, restaurants are very near - aprox 10-15min....

"My wife and I stayed a week and really enjoyed the property. The outdoor spaces in particular are awesome. Spacious, varied, shaded, sun, views from everywhere, lovely garden and plantings. The house itself is well done and equipped, cozy but kind of small. I would recommend putting screen doors (yes I know they don't exist in Europe) on the doors so you can get fresh air without leaving them wide open to the creatures and insects. "We were an adult family group of n Sicily for the first time and Villa Consiglio was the perfect place to explore from. The Villa, pool and its many terraces enjoy views towards Palermo and Cefalu which could be easily reached by car or train. The villa was quiet and away from the centre but just a few minutes to the town by car. The owners went to great lengths to welcome us and Carlo was always available to deal with any questions, to guide us to the villa and run us to the train station....

"Property located adjacent to very old olive tree orchard. Scenic mountain back drop with ocean view. Spacious upstairs flat with full amenities. Beautiful pool and garden in the yard. Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"

"Well, to start off we are American (65) and I sometime my expectations are higher than they should be. First off was the private gate, you had to exit the car to enter a code to open the gate. You also had to exit the car to enter a code to leave but the code box was at ground level. When it rained you had no choice but get wet. The driveway was on a steep slope also. The exterior of the property had abandoned vehicle and appliance, unmaintained grounds. The bathroom shower had mold...

"Fabulous 3 villas set in gorgeous gardens. Ideal for large family group of 15. Lovely owner who popped in every morning, but never intrusive. Treated us to pizza on first day and delicious croissants during the week. He didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Italian, but we managed with languages app and sign language! Amazing pool area ideal for relaxing holiday. Highly recommend this booking."

"We had a super 2 weeks in this villa. Giuseppe is a brilliant host. From day 1 communication was helpful and prompt. All information was passed on at the relevant point. He could not have been better. The villa is really well-equipped and comfortable. The pool was a real boon when the weather was hot and was well maintained and cleaned every few days. Immaculate and Cozy

"It was immaculate and cozy, but what stood out the mist was how helpful the staff was. They arranged for us to not only see the Valley of the Temples, but to connect us with our bus to Catania, giving us drtailed instructions. A great breakfast, too."

"We chose this hotel for a quick one night stay to stab into Valley of the Temples park just 3 minutes away first thing in the morning, which we did. We found the room on the small side. The air conditioner seemed to run with odd intermittent noises. Our main issue was with the shower. First, the doors slid apart from the center on tracks as in a closet, but one door was so off-track, it was hanging on 1 of 4 rollers. I was able to get the top two back on track, but the bottom two needed tools. The second issue was the faucet handle was dead center on the long wall right where the showeree would stand--and it was a pullout handle, not a turn knob, not two or three knobs, a handle that juts into the action zone. Talking about thoughtless design, then add my gurthiness, it was an unpleasant dance in deed. I can't speak about all their rooms, but I would ask that they review this design flaw. Overall we slept well and we're able to accomplish our tourist objectives. I want to point out our wonderful experience eating dinner at Pizzeria Mythos Nella Valle--their food is tremendous and tasty. Great family run restaurant with high integrity. Five minutes walk from hotel. Nevermind the lower rating...their food is the real deal! "
