"The only reason on property conditions that i gave it 3 stars was because it is under construction and i hope the painting is not completed in the room i was in. It needed a little more attention to details around trim, fixtures, etc. Not a big deal overall."

"The pictures online were of the hotel, ive been leary because sometimes the pictures are a bit of an exaggeration of the hotel or not even the same hotel. The hotel was clean and staff was nice. The breakfast was what to be expected of a free breakfast. We will be staying here again when we make these trips. "

"There was an unpleasant odor in the lobby and no air conditioning in the hallway, but the AC in my room worked well. The desk clerk was business-like--don't expect to receive a warm welcome. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the mini-fridge but the microwave didn't work. "Based on the pictures you would think this was a simple but very nice home. However, once we checked in, just from the outside you could tell it has not been kept up. The deck is worn and weeds and trees are growing along side it. Inside, there were numerous things wrong, including a strong smell of cat pee that was in the hallway and got stronger in the bedroom. "The house was the perfect size for my two kids and I. Everything was clean and exactly as described in the listing. The house felt very home-y and the kids loved all the books, toys, and the rock painting. The neighborhood was quiet, and everything was just a short drive away. Would definitely stay here again."

"The Loft was absolutely beautiful. We only used half because we only needed one bedroom. But this place is so huge. It would be perfect for two couples because there’s two king suites and they’re on complete opposite sides of the building. There is room for improvement with minor maintenance. "We took our 3 grandchildren ages 6, 8 and 10 to Chicago as a Christmas gift. We chose this resort because of the water park. They had a blast! We then drove to Shedd Aquarium for a day, which was a very doable drive, 1 1/2 hours and still had time for them to come back and swim. The life guards were very observant of the kids swimming and did a great job. The amusement center was an added bonus as well as an on sight restaurant, snack shop and bar. We would definitely recommend this facility. J & K Harkness Laingsburg, MI"
