Tricky to find, even with the help of some good men in St Andre de Vizines, the effort was exponentially rewarded. Of our 1800+ kilometer drive to visit alps, a bridge, a cave, and a city of lights, our stay in St. Andre keeps emerging as a true highlight."

"House well equipped and comfortable. Access to UK programmes via Sky box appreciated, but no Wi-fi a bit disappointing. A few points I feel are worth making - I hope you’ll take them in the spirit they are offered: Lounge seating a bit uncomfortable. Pool clearly has a leak and needed topping up daily. Some light switches not very secure - one in particular is for the short hall leading to the 2nd bedroom. We enjoyed our 10 days here, allowing us to visit Soubes again after selling our villa...

"The property is situated in a beautiful valley and the host provided guidance for things to see and do around. The gite is specious downstairs and the kids (and dog!) absolutely loved playing with the donkeys and the turtles. We were offered to purchase a home-cooked meal which was generous and tasty. The hosts were very friendly and patient with the kids and dog and allowed them to feed the animals. Our kids and dog really enjoyed their stay here! However the property wasn't quite what we...

"Mon deuxième séjour dans un gite très fonctionnel, confortable, frais, bien équipé et situé dans un charmant petit village traditionnel aux maisons de pierres. La région est magnifique : de belles balades, des produits du terroir, des villages médiévaux. Nos hôtes sont très accueillants ainsi que les habitants du village. Je recommande à 100%."

"Martine and Raymond were very attentive hosts but also gave us our privacy. We were there during an excessive heatwave but we had the pool to cool off in. We spent most of our time in the pool and the outdoor kitchen area. There are supermarkets nearby and lac du salagou is well worth a visit. "

Mais la rivière est un pure bonheur. Des coins magnifiques La maison a tout le confort nécessaire, spacieuse, terrasse, plancha,… des ventilateurs pour les chambres seraient un plus. A refaire sans hésitation."

"The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful with dining recommendations - but I want to particularly thank the lady behind the desk on the night we arrived. I didn't catch her name, but she was friendly, helpful with dining recommendations and kind enough to store some things of ours in the hotel fridge when we realized there was no fridge in the room. A really pleasant stay in a fascinating little town. No lift to the rooms, so folks with difficulties with stairs may have issues."
