If you like being close to shopping, a good pool area with also an ocean view from your balcony this is the best deal I've seen in about a dozen trips to The Republic. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and Domenico and his wife are always very responsive to any questions or problems. I've stayed here twice now and the only real problem has been the occasional loss of electricity, but this is something...

"My sister and her husband and their almost 2 year old daughter joined me and my husband and our 18 year old daughter for a relaxing week at Villa Nueva Romana. The house was spacious, well appointed, clean and met our needs very well. There were a couple of small issues (broken toilet seat, broken pool net), which were addressed immediately upon bringing them to the owner's attention. we would stay there again."

"Best customer service in a hotel in a long time, all tge staff are super friendly, respectful always with a smile, that make me feel like homeb, however the hotel needs renovation , is way too old and outdated, it neededa renovation,quality of the food and drinks can better, "
