"This is an older property, typical of the highway "motor courts" of the 1950's, but nearly everything has been refurbished and updated. Only the wood furniture in our room looked worn, which was OK with us. Everything else seemed to be brand new and everything was clean. The reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5 is that the room was quite small. "If you ever stay at this property, you will know exactly what that means. Check in is via a kiosk with an agent overseas. Never experienced anything like that but it was ok. They have worked hard to make this into a clean, safe, and comfortable hotel experience. It was quite nice EXCEPT for the horrible smell emitting from one of those plug in scent things with liquid in a reservoir. It would send a skunk running. We unplugged it and bagged it but the smell stayed with us. Note to owner: Please...

"We were so excited to try this new place. We will not recommend it to anyone. Here were the issues: 1. We never received the email with check-in info. I emailed requesting it, no response. We did not have a number until we arrived and another guest had the owner’s number. 2. VRBO states the site has a hot tub. Nope. 3.
