Holiday Rentals in Shetland Islands

"Booked a single room which was quite small but it was exactly as per the photo. The bathroom was quite spacious and very well lit. Extremely clean as was the bathroom. Noise insulation wasn’t great as the room is above the kitchen but I’m used to very quiet living. The dinner menu was varied and the dishes very well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A shame the breakfast pastries were individually wrapped in plastic and the jams and spreads which I understand to limit food waste; maybe that’s different in high season."

"A nice hotel with very helpful staff. Some minor issues on our arrival which were sorted out immediately. The problem was with Expedia booking, not the hotel. Absolutely perfect for our visit which was for a business trip. We will definitely go back next time we are in Shetland."

"We had a lovely big room Yell overlooking the garden. The hotel was peaceful and quiet even though there were some big groups staying. Always plenty of hot water and heating which was needed after being in the cold winds at Shetland. Staff very helpful and polite - they helped us book ferries to Yell and Unst. Breakfast and dinner very plentiful - too much for me at times but you can ask for a half portion. Lovely lounge to relax in on an evening. Highly recommend and we hope to be back at spring time in a couple of years"

"Would absolutely stay here again! The location is stunning and Niki is a great host. I'd never been to the UK before and forgot to specify an automatic for my car rental. She sent me taxi and bus info and had found me a new rental car with a different co (the only one who had an automatic available) by the time I got to the rental, and was also just a pleasure to talk to. Don't skip the spa, which is well-maintained and especially relaxing with its large windows facing the sea."
