"If you stay here, you MUST book a villa. The villas are right on the oceans edge and have balconies with private pools. The setting is impossible to match anywhere else. Blissfully beautiful and relaxing. The hotel is aging, as many reviews tell you, but if your goal is relaxation you will not be disappointed. Yes there is pealing paint, aging bathroom tiles, and less than perfect plumbing, but having a PRIVATE pool, cool A/C, and comfortable beds far out ways the negatives. Oh, and happy hour twice a day with two for one $7 mixed drinks doesn’t hurt either. We had a wonderful time."
